Because we use pointopoint in our Wolfixy VPS networking our IP configuration may differ from other providers (Except for OVH and Hetzner and others I’m not aware of). we use this way to have more IPv4 assigned per server since you already know World ran out of IPv4 and we as providers have to pay the price.

Our VPS is provisioned with DHCP NAT IP so you can do iPXE/Net install easily. however you shall not use NAT IP for you VPS usage since its outgoing connections are pretty much limited. After install you have to change DHCP to static IP configuration provided in our control panel. as per this steps :

1 – first find your ethernet name using this command:

ip link

Expected Results:

1: lo: mtu 65536 qdisc noqueue state UNKNOWN mode DEFAULT group default qlen 1000
link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd 00:00:00:00:00:00
2: ens18: mtu 1500 qdisc mq state UP mode DEFAULT group default qlen 1000
link/ether XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff

2 – edit /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ens18 and add/change:

IPADDR=$IP
NETMASK=$NETMASK
SCOPE="peer $GATEWAY"
GATEWAY=$GATEWAY

3 – create new file here /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/route-ens18

ADDRESS0=0.0.0.0
NETMASK0=0.0.0.0
GATEWAY0=$GATEWAY

Replace $IP, $NETMASK, $GATEWAY with info provided you in your Wolfixy panel. once that done reboot your server and your VPS shall work as expected.
